UPDATE ON CHARITY THIEF

As you know the theft happened 2 weeks ago but wasn’t noticed until yesterday.

Was reported to the police and the Ben Saunders Charity management straightaway.

We’ve been advised today by the police that the individual is already in custody for something else so hopefully will be charged for this theft too.

Thank you to everyone that has provided info and support, the Bath community is amazing and we’re proud to be part of it.

For all the guys that have mentioned what they’re gonna do when they catch him, chill please! We’re all understandably enraged about it but let the police deal with it accordingly.

We’re lucky to say all our customers are really nice. The regulars and the visitors to our lovely city.

Rarely you get that one vile one. This scumbag was a walk-in and used our shop for what we believe the first time, nothing extraordinary at the time but now making our blood boil.

He was eyeing up the only charity pot we hold, setup by a local family who many of us are supporters of in the memory of their son a local young man - The Ben Saunders Foundation. This man done the inexcusable and stole the nearly full charity pot.

If anyone knows him, please DM us and we’ll pass it on. Report has been filed with the police.

Unfortunately this happened 2 weeks ago and only been realised today. We can’t apologise enough for that, it’s been part of the counter for years and we should’ve noticed sooner.

Evening everyone.
Hope all is well. Just to notify we will be closed for a week at the end of this month.

Normally we close for a week during the summer holidays but this year we’re trying out the October half-term instead.

Closed from Monday 27th October. Back open on Monday 3rd November.

**Update** still have a partial power cut but can take internet orders and card payments now.

Unfortunately we’re experiencing a power outtage on Mount Rd. Most of the shops are closed. We have some power for certain equipment so we’re still open.

We can take orders over the phone but no card payments until power is back. Also no Internet orders or third party orders.
