What a night, what a match! England is officially through to the 2026 World Cup Semifinals after an absolutely incredible performance against Norway. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿✨
The tension was unreal, and the wait was agonising, but every single second of it was worth it.

We want to say a massive THANK YOU to every England fan who packed out The Old Crown last night. The energy was electric, the chanting was loud, and you were honestly the best crowd ever! We couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere to cheer on the Three Lions. 🍻👏

But the journey doesn't stop here. Next up: we take on Argentina this Wednesday, 15th July at 8 PM. Let’s come together and witness history being made again after 60 years.

What a cracking turnout on a warm summer’s evening! ☀️🍻 Plenty of ice-cold drinks were flowing, brains were working overtime (well… for most 😅), and another brilliant night of laughs at The Old Crown!

🥇 1st Place – Outside Bets – 81 points 🏆💷 £40 Winners!
Turns out they weren’t outside bets after all… more like nailed-on favourites! They quietly strolled in, answered almost everything and left everyone else wondering if they’d secretly brought Google in disguise. Congratulations! 👏

🥈 2nd Place – Two Youngish Gits – 79½ points 💷 £20 Winners!
Proof that “youngish” is doing a lot of heavy lifting! 😂 Just a point and a half away from glory, but still showing they’ve got plenty of knowledge left in the tank. A fantastic effort!

🥉 3rd Place – Trumps Rung Costel… We’ve Won! 💷 £10 Winners!
Whether Trump actually rang Costel remains unconfirmed… but they certainly answered enough questions to phone in a podium finish! 📞🤣 Well played!

The name may translate to “The Favourite Friends”… but unfortunately the quiz questions weren’t feeling the love this week! 😆 Better luck next time – every champion has to start somewhere… probably with a wooden spoon!
