After closing the doors for the very last time at Riders rest cafe e Trattoria on the 31 of August...after almost 5 1/2 years ! ( time doesnt just fly it whizzes by in a Flash....
Reflecting on our journey ,since taking what was a very quiet ,low key business in the heart of the beautiful but from a working/business point of view ,challengeing position,, we set about re_ building our lives in the UK.
Slowly, Slowly with lots of sacrifices and sheer hard work , facing the difficulties that being " out of the way" regarding ..position brings.
Tunnels flooding and consiquently closing for months at a time, therefore blocking the way for " Our cycliists" only the toughest found the way through an unmarked. Slippy, muddy alternative to get to us( for which we thank you so much) certainly not a leasurly family cycle into the countryside
To the shooting season, once more blocking the way for our intrepid Cyclists!l ,
Hail rain and shine they showed up for us.....

The roads into and out of Wellow seem to be constantly open / closed try keeping track of that..

ETC,ETC,ETC...

Anyhows Piano, piano ,steadily we made the climb up to creating * Our clients words , not ours"
A Welcoming warm family hub ,a little piece of Italy in the Heart of Somerset....
Between ourselves and our customers... friends we prefer to call you all, we began to feel as if we too had an extended famiy here..

We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the friendship ,loyalty, and love you have shown us throughout our time at " Riders rest cafe e Trattoria", we wont forget in a hurry ###x

As we move on to pastures new, with re newed vigor and our batteries recharged after a short break back in the " Bel Paese" enjoying all of our amazing Italian delicacies ...great Vino and not forgetting a big hug from Mamma Maria, ###
