Dear customers,
This is regarding the post(it's been deleted by very kind group admin now) was on Facebook Thursday night. Ben Grove said had food from us and been unwell after, We have been trying to contact him multiple times, would be much appreciated if could kindly let us know when he ordered food and what he ordered in order to help the business to start investigation; but we haven't had any replies until now. We also been asking kind customers around to see if anyone has any contact with him, but surprisingly no one seem to know him and by looking at the Facebook profile he only seem to have 1 friend.
We do take these kind of issues very seriously, although we still haven't had any information provided. We had an urgent meeting with chefs on Thursday late night and rechecked all preparation precedures, we can confirm that chefs have followed every step correctly. We will keep monitoring every step from now on and check strictly for all stock receiving from our supplies as well.
We also like to receivie real feedbacks from customers(good or bad); simply because we can't improve if we don't know. There was a customer mentioned slightly too much onions on dishes and we have pass it back to the chef and start putting less onions into dishes; there was another customer mentioned about our cooking oil, we would like to clarify that we are changing oil more frequent than we are required to, every other day or even every day if it's a busy night. As a result we are using more oil compare to some similar businesses.
Also customers are concerned about the other branch Ballards Wok hygiene rating, Ballards Wok can't wait for another inpection and ready for it. We do swap chefs for special occasions like off sick, day off, short of chef etc; but the most majorities are our normal chefs at Good Food.
As a small business, we are truly being so grateful to have so many amazing customers, there were so many kind words to stand up for the business. We love our amazing customers, love the great community and we are trying the best to serve everyone!
