During the last week a number of very small but also very cute Capybaras seem to have taken residence in various places round the pub… they seem to be very good natured and multicoloured…. Our Chief Capybara Keeper assures us that they are tame and won’t cause any trouble! There are 16 in total inside and out… see if you and particularly our younger guests can spot them all!

Happy Saturday everyone! It’s quite a day today as we say farewell to our youngest daughter Ria as she heads off to Warwick university, we are trying not to get emotional but we’ll see!

This weekends sporting highlights on tv are the Azerbaijan Grand Prix today and England v Spain tonight; then the final ODI of the cricketing summer as England take on Sri Lanka in the series decider tomorrow.

An unfortunate moan…… this morning whilst cleaning we discovered in the gents 2 small empty bottles of vodka. It is unacceptable to bring in food or drink from outside. If you are caught you will be asked to leave. We will be watching VERY closely. We operate a zero tolerance policy on ANY bad behaviour.

Anyhoo…… we can’t wait to welcome you. See you by the bar 🍻🍺🍻
