The www.wensleydalebrewery.co.uk ales are very popular with our ale-enthusiasts and today (1400hrs 18/6/26) we have two ales fresh on the bar. Firstly, DOWN TO EARTH is a classic, full-bodied 4.6% ABV stout featuring a rich blend of roasted malts for a properly good, traditional stout experience, and secondly Superdelic SUPER FLY a highly popular 4.1% ABV Golden Pale. Hopped with Superdelic, it is renowned for its tropical fruit, citrus, and juicy berry flavors, offering a crisp and refreshing finish.

Whilst you enjoy a beer and good conversation in the Stable Yard Beer Garden, you will notice another sculpture piece has been setup today. Its a magnificent three-dimensional assemblage of different materials from shipping and docks, including 19th century, woven wicker baskets (frequently called day shapes), which were used in the maritime industry for visual communication. Because radios did not exist, mariners and coastal port authorities relied on hoisting these shapes, such as circles, squares, and cones, to convey status or warnings. Round or cylindrical baskets signaled specific tide depths and harbor conditions. We have other sculptures to place in position very soon, theirinafter we will [press release] and tell you about the sculptor and his sculpture installations organic journey to the White Swan.

Pub Life leaves you with a headful of thoughts and sometimes you find yourself wishing the rain would wash everything away, and just when your ready to retire on a late evening of another long working day, you find a wandering lost soul outside the pub and, much that you don't want to get involved, morally it's the right thing to do, no matter how exhausted you feel. Fortunately it was raining Moon Drops at the time which helped us to ensure this young man was safeguarded until expert help arrived. Alas it left a heavy heart of his plight and we couldn't settle until the early hours thinking about him.

Such is Pub life, it's a meeting place for allsorts of people, not only do we see joy and, sadness and people midway through journeys in life, we absorb people's energies, it's not a prerequisite, but I think it helps to be an empath, even though you risk absorbing negative energy. Alas there are ways you can protect yourself and it's not always a bottle of wine at the end if the day.

All I need now is sunshine ink and, to sit with the flowers of chaos, amongst creativity, curiosity and the space between stories in the Stable Yard, with our new abstracted attractions on view.

Thank you sincerely Patrons and Staff - Lisa
