☀️Bank Holiday⚡️

We haven't a clue what the weather holds for the Bank Holiday weekend, so we thought we'd cover all angles.

Rain or shine, why not enjoy a drink from our fully licensed bar and some great hearty food from the kitchen.

Whether it's from the comfort of our spacious lounge, or from our extensive patio, we have great views over Barton Marina.

Our full menu is served all day and is freshly prepared using the best of local produce.

So whatever the weather this weekend, we've got it covered.

🌞Pure Meltin'🌞

Today we've held extensive talks with The Apple Tree's Meteorological and Sociological Teams, and have taken onboard the following feedback.

The head of our Meteorological Team stuck their forefinger out of a window at 3pm this afternoon, and immediately determined that the temperature was 'pure meltin'.

The head of our Sociological Team subsequently confirmed they had8 witnessed a bare chested, shaved headed, heavily tatooed, XL Bully walking, 'patriot', passing The Tree earlier in the day, swigging from a can of Special Brew*.

As such, and taking the welfare of our staff into consideration, we have taken the decision to close our kitchen from 2pm tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. We will though remain open, serving drinks and cakes etc, with staff who have chosen to stay with us.

*any resemblance to any customer, past, present or potential, is non-intentional and entirely coincidental. The Apple Tree Diversity Team have advised us to state that we welcome customers of all socioeconomic backgrounds.

With a fully stocked bar, including Hawkstone Session and Cider on draft, we've got Fathers Day covered.

*Our staff are human beings too, and as such experience the same sensation of heat as the rest of us. They could be stacking shelves in The Asdasas, or flipping burgers in The Burger Queen ... but they're not! They're at The Tree, providing a face to face service, with a smile and a bit of chat, because they like people. So, please, bear with them if service is a little slower today and in the coming week ... they really are doing their best to make your experience better. Give them a word of encouragement and a smile ... it really means a lot.

🌍 A Taste of Africa 🌍

The Apple Tree are delighted to present 'A Taste of Africa', an informal evening of African cuisine, fine wine and live music.

Special guest, ex England international cricketer, Matthew Hoggard, will be on the grill, serving up a mouthwatering traditional braai, as well as taking part in a Question and Answer session.

With fine wine presented by Barton's very own Warren Rumsey of Vin X Wine Cellar, this promises to be a night not to be missed.
