Sorry boys and gals hands up I got my dates all wrong and now not able to open while I’m away for a couple days watching the cricket/drinking guiness. This should hopefully be the last time we have to close because I’m not available 🤞🏻🤞🏻good news is I’ve now got a freezer full of FROZEN ice cream to sell from Friday!!!

Summer 2026- we became a team of 4, we boiled alive in the trailer, we watched the sun disappear, we joined the biker gang, we made so many iced lattes, and mostly we appreciated every single one of you for supporting us and helping us grow 🫶🏻 still on the upward trajectory (with some wobbles) and autumn should be really exciting please remember us once the weather turns we’ll try an stay 10-4 7 days a week for your hot drinks on the beach. Right! Grinder out of action for a few days in meantime will have some store bought coffee, it’s drinkable just not a patch on Scout Coffee Roasters so all coffee is 10% off till we are back to normal. We won’t be serving espresso because it’s just not up to scratch, needs a bit of milk…. hope you understand thanks in advance and for being patient today 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Winter trail success! If the weather is a bit pants you’ll find us staring at a brick wall 😅This will help us open a bit more in bad weather, it was quite nice in the trailer today 😊 dead but nice. Last year we’d have 100% closed today so there is a couple hundred quid into the Holton fund 🕺really hope we can pull this off the enthusiasm is there from us and you guys 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

I feel these weather warnings are a bit too cautious both yesterday and today absolutely dead but weather has been pretty ok. Considered not opening today like a few others have due to forecast! Glad I did open just to have a chill day but we move. Really going to try and weather/wind proof the trailer to ride out the weather and stay consistent. (Only closed 2 days in august which is way better)

Crowdfunding….. as you’ll know hopefully! we are looking to go into holton road. Despite being told we are mad on several occasions! The initial costs are spiralling and we don’t have the funds to do it all. Crowdfunding can be seen quite negatively from a business, completely get it…. But we aren’t funded by trust funds/backers/chains with huge resources we are trying to make a small difference by paying a good wage offering products from local businesses, hiring those that most need a foot back on the jobs ladder. This is all the plan for Holton road. We are quite far down the line in planning stages and have seen a number of empty units hopefully some firm news on that soon ish. To make sure we can make this happen we are asking for donations as you can see if you look at the crowdfunding page there are some rewards and there will be some more added to include a special funders event which will be all the fun!!
We’ve thought long and hard about going live with this and the possibility that there will be a negative response but hope the majority will see what we are trying to achieve is not just about profit.

Vans looking sharp again! Hopefully you like it as much as the old branding. Bonus is this has been done by real people no AI, we are going to try and avoid using AI as much as possible from now! It served a purpose while we were in early stages without any money but now it feels right to deal with local businesses/people.
