UPDATE FOR YOU ALL..
Firstly, thanks to every single one of you, who took the time to respond to this message and have already been down to say goodbye , If you would still like to have one last visit , then K9s
Will be open to yourselves to pop in and come and say goodbye on Thursday 31st of August.
I am afraid after that date, I will no longer be trading as K9 PLUS1.
It’s been an absolute bloody blast . I really do understand why so many of you are so upset that there will be one less dog friendly home from home for you to all come and visit, especially in the winter when we were more like a big family, I thank you for all of your loyalty throughout the years .
Anyway, as I said, Thursday will be the last day of opening any questions you have just please message me.
Huge virtual hugs to you all.
WARNING… I DO GO ON A BIT…
PLEASE SHARE WITH AS MANY AS POSSIBLE ######
Well everybody, the time for me to say goodbye to K9 PLUS I is here.
The last eight years have been filled with ups and downs and lots of fun in between. I have been fortunate enough to have made many friends and seen a lot of you through your own ups and downs in life. We have become one huge community of old and young,
It is now time for somebody else to carry on the good deed of keeping you all fed and watered.
As you know, the only reason I opened K9 PLUS I, was due to the lack of anywhere for you to take your dogs, beautiful fur babies and your best friends. I have now completed the task of making many, many cafés, restaurants, etc dog friendly. Of course I may have made too good a job as others followed suit with my uniqueness, which of course opened up the competition for you to try out venues.
Thank you so much to every one of my loyal and sincere customers, you helped me to stay trading throughout the last eight years . Also thank you to my new customers who have passed by and the ones who have sought us out from many many miles away..
As you are all the aware , I stood strong through Covid, price rises in food, the hike in insurance premiums, wages and the general cost of living increases that have become too much to cover. However, to top it all off, I have trebbled my electricity costs through using no more than I have done throughout my time of being open and that is one expense that i do not wish to burden myself with.
I have had the most amazing staff throughout these years, and I have to thank my chef, the amazing Gary who has been by my side through thick and thin, tears and laughter for six of those crazy years, and we have seen each other grow in confidence and been there for each other throughout and he has helped steady the ship to make K9 PLUS 1 one of the most popular dog, friendly cafés that serves amazing food with a fantastic family atmosphere.
I would also love to thank my wonderful brother-in-law IAN, who has also been by my side and given his dedication in helping K9s send out gorgeous dishes as well as supplying us with excellent and warming wall art for the last 3 years.
It goes without saying that my proudest moments have been employing family that have stood by my side throughout this whole, beautiful experience. Ryan, you have made me so extremely proud of you. You have risen from being a boy, helping out whenever you could and matured into the man that you are now, needless to say you are one hell of a hard worker, you are going to do so well in your future, as you have never been scared of hard work and have been loyal and committed throughout, you have never let me down and have been by my side when ever I have asked.
Anyway, that’s enough of me droning on , when I have confirmed my last day, I will let you all know and will obviously invite you all to say goodbye in person . We will have a little bit of a do with lots of cuddles and tears, I’m sure .
Please don’t forget that I can never give up, so I will ask you all to join me in my next venture when I have set it up
