💡 STARTS TOMORROW: SPECTACULAR FREE LIGHT AND SOUND EXPERIENCE COMING TO BARROW TOWN HALL
A spectacular immersive installation featuring hundreds of suspended lights, sound and colour is coming to Barrow Town Hall as part of Barrow Music Week 2026.
Internationally acclaimed digital art collective Squidsoup will bring its installation INFINITE to the Queen’s Hall, transforming the space into an interactive audiovisual environment.
Hundreds of intelligent suspended spheres combine light and sound, with the walkthrough installation effectively becoming a huge real-time musical instrument as visitors move through the space.
Organisers describe INFINITE as creating an unpredictable and constantly changing landscape of sound, colour and light, with visitors able to choose their own path through the installation.
The attraction will be completely FREE to visit, with no booking required, and will run from Friday 2nd October until Sunday 11th October at Barrow Town Hall.
Its arrival is another major addition to the sixth annual Barrow Music Week, which has a packed programme of live music, performances, exhibitions, workshops and special events taking place across the town.
