I will be manning the phones 11.15am - 12.45pm tomorrow, Tuesday 8th September. The dates have been announced in advance of being able to book so that people have chance to check with family/friends when they are available before phoning in to reserve a table. £10 deposit per person required at the time of booking 01271 858339 😀

We are serving a carvery today 12-2pm. Due to the increase in food and running costs and not reaching the mid week numbers required this will be our last Wednesday lunchtime carvery so make the most of it today! Tell your friends and come along to see us 😀

Don't panic it's not too bad.!
The work that is advertised to be done over 5 nights is only going to take about 3 hours. The planned evening is Saturday 22nd August and it is going to be their second job so unlikely to start before 10/10.30pm. This is obviously subject to no machinery breakdowns or extreme weather. They are carrying out stud work and will be closing the road from Newton cross up the hill from us to Kennacott lane ( first left past the iron works) Hopefully this won't be too much disruption for everyone 🤞

Its not good news i'm afraid. The meter box that they put in yesterday didnt pass inspection and needs levelling so they have to dig it back up! 😡😡 They only have a permit until the end of today so it should have to be open later!! Let's hope they don't get another permit!!
