A free weekend. An actual free weekend. And what am I doing with it?

Organising. Like a very boring adult.

The one genuinely useful thing to come out of today is this: I have no idea what to bake next and I need suggestions. Cake, biscuits, something completely daft, I'm all ears. What do you want to see? 🍪

For all the K-pop fans.. this was a fun one for a very special little girls birthday!

The pictures really do not do this cake any favours 😳. The colouring was a deep lilac/purple colour with lots of different purples mixed in with the decor. However the toppers are the show stopper for me with how vibrant they are 😍

All toppers are handmade by Bannisters Bakehouse.

💗 A little Bannisters Bakehouse update! 💗

I’m going to be taking a couple of weeks off from baking as I’m heading in for double hip surgery this afternoon! 🦴🩷

Don’t worry though — I won’t disappear completely! 😂 I’ll still be popping up on here, posting updates and taking enquiries/messages for future orders. I’ll just be temporarily swapping my baking apron for some much-needed recovery time! 🥰

Thank you all so much for your continued support and understanding. I’ll be back baking (hopefully better than ever!) as soon as I’m able. 🍪🎂💕

Look at that for a desert spread on your wedding day 🥰😍.

75 cupcakes;
5 stuffed flavours,(jam, lemon, Oreo, biscoff and chocolate)
5 different floral white toppings

With two XL boxes of cookies in different flavours- however these never made it to the desert table as the newly weds decided to keep them all to them selves! I mean, who can blame them 😅🫣.

I know where I would be sitting with a spread like this!

I have the absolute pleasure of sharing my birthday with my eldest son! So not only was it my 30th, it was my sons 10th birthday too! 😩😳.

Now, my son has autism and is extremely fussy when it comes to food, one of the reasons bannisters Bakehouse became a thing! So for his birthday cake this year, he asked for a super simple chocolate cake, with chocolate buttercream and a dreamy ganache filling, he has good taste for sure 😍😅.

Of course I had to give him slices with none of the blue icing on or sprinkles as he would absolutely not eat it with those on. But I couldn’t just make a standard cake 😅😭.

I do still have plenty of availability over these coming months for custom orders inbetween my store restocks and cafes. So please do get in touch with any inquiries ❤️
