Today, as a mark of respect for one of Wombwell’s finest, Rick Rushton, we will be lowering our shutters at 11:00am.

Today, our thoughts are with Vicky as she lays her beloved husband to rest. We send our heartfelt condolences to her, Rick’s family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rick was a truly kind, generous, and respected man whose warmth and friendship touched so many lives. He will be remembered with great affection, and his loss will be deeply felt throughout our community.

From Saffron Restaurant, we send our love, strength, and deepest sympathies to Vicky, Rick’s family, and all his friends.

Rest in peace, Rick. You will always be remembered.
