🌸 SOMETHING NEW IS COMING TO ALICE’S CAFE 🌸

We’ve been having a little think about how we can make our lovely little café even more of a place for people to come together… and we have an idea! ❤️

We’re thinking about starting monthly Senior Social Days for our lovely older generation — whether you live at home, live alone, are part of a group, or would like to come along with a care home.

Think… afternoon tea/buffet-style food 🥪🍰☕

🎲 Games & activities
🎱 BINGO with a few prizes
☕ UNLIMITED tea & coffee
🧃 Juice
😂 Plenty of laughs & good company
❤️ And most importantly… nobody sitting at home feeling lonely!

We’d love to make it a warm, friendly and affordable afternoon where everyone can come along, have a natter, meet people and enjoy themselves.

We’re hoping to run these once a month, and we’d also love to hear from local care homes, carers, community groups and families who think this could be something their residents/loved ones would enjoy.

Right, so… there comes a time in every small business owner’s life when you have to make an extremely difficult business decision…
and that decision is to shut the café at 12pm because it’s MY BIRTHDAY. 😂🥂🎂

I promise I’m usually very dedicated… but today I’m choosing cake, cocktails and questionable decisions instead. 🤣💃🏼

So come and see us this morning for your breakfast & coffee fix ☕️🍳 — we’ll be closing at 12pm today so I can go and celebrate being another year older (and apparently no wiser). 😂

Thank you as always for supporting my little café and allowing me to take the occasional birthday afternoon off! 🥹💗
