We serve a fantastic choice of wines, spirits and real ales (and of course soft drinks) and serve food from breakfast to dinner. From a great choice of sandwiches and bar meals through to some outstanding value home cooked favourites made from the best locally sourced ingredients available in our atmospheric candle lit restaurant.

❤️ A message to our customers

After much thought and consideration, we’ve made the very difficult decision to retire from the Elephant & Castle and bring our time here to an end.

For so many years, this wonderful pub has been a huge part of our lives. We feel incredibly lucky to have welcomed so many of you through our doors, shared special occasions, celebrated milestones and created countless memories together.

Being part of this community has meant more to us than we can put into words. We’ve made lifelong friendships, met some truly wonderful people and have so many happy memories that we will carry with us into the next chapter.

Our staff - are all AMAZING, some of them have been with us for many many years and we are so grateful for you all. We wish you all the best of luck on your next ventures 🩷

As we’ll be here throughout the Christmas season, we would absolutely love to see as many of you as possible before we finally say goodbye. 🎄❤️ our last day will be December 23rd 2026.

This hasn’t been an easy decision, but we feel the time is right for us to step away, take a well-earned rest and look forward to whatever comes next.

So, from the very bottom of our hearts, thank you — for your support, your loyalty, your kindness, your laughter and, most importantly, for making the Elephant & Castle such a special part of our lives.

We hope you’ll join us over the next few months to raise a glass, share a few memories and celebrate the many wonderful years we’ve had together.
