We’ve completed our half marathon!!!
Thank you to each and every person who has donated, we’ve managed to raise a massive £1050 for diabetes UK and our lovely customers have been the majority of donators so thank you sooo much!!!💙
I’d be lying if I said that was easy, there was times when it was a mental battle but both of us managed to beat the times we set ourselves and we’re both so happy!
Thank you again for everyone’s support over the last few months!
Please be kind to me tomorrow because I’m going to be walking like I’ve 💩 myself, I thought I’d be nice and let Nicola have the day off lol, maybe Neil will pick up the slack and let me get sat in the chair🤣

So now we are in May I’m getting prepared for our fundraising activity this month and we are going to be raising funds for Weston Park Cancer Charity. Date for the diary… Friday 22nd May

I’m sure many many of you have had experience of the hospital and the wonderful work it does, either yourself or family and friends. Cancer is proper s**t, and affects everyone in some way even if it’s not yourself that is needing their care. They looked after my best friend, and I know far too many people currently undergoing cancer treatments so even though I might only be able to help a little bit it all helps.

So I’m going to be doing my version of their Time for tea in a Karen way. I have got a fundraising page set up already which I’ll share in the comments below but I will also be doing a raffle for one of our big 4 layer cakes, cake box and on the day loads of the stuff. One of my lovely customers today has donated all their loyalty points so I can do more than I thought I might be able to, it is a lovely thing and yes I teared up (many probably know I’m a bit of a cryer if people are nice to me when I’m having one of those weeks!)

So watch this space for more things coming up, any extra ideas welcome

Would you believe me if I told you this counter was full this morning! We’ve been absolutely cleared out by you lovely lot today❤️
