We have two great events coming up for and we’d love to see as many of you as possible at both.

September Branch Meeting & Social – Thursday 24th September

Our September branch meeting and social takes place next Thursday at:

📍 Pen*stone Royal British Legion Club
🕗 Starting at 8.00 pm

Come along for our regular branch meeting, catch up with fellow members and enjoy a social evening together.

Autumn Pub of the Season Presentation – Friday 25th September

Then, the following evening, we’ll be celebrating our Autumn Pub of the Season at the wonderful Albion Pub in Hemingfield.

🕖 From 7.00 pm
🏆 Presentation at approximately 8.00 pm

It would be fantastic to see as many Barnsley CAMRA members as possible come along and help us celebrate this great community pub.

So, two evenings, two great events and plenty of opportunities to catch up with fellow members. We hope you can join us!

Well that's it for another year of festivals from us at Barnsley CAMRA, I would like to say thank you to all the volunteers that came to both the Civic and St Peter's to lend a hand. Without you all these festivals would just not happen.

I would also like to say thank you to our sponsors at the Civic, Blackfords Barnsley, Inertia Creative, Field Design Limited and Trails o'Life

At St Peter's I would like to say thank you to our cask sponsors Ison Harrison Solicitors and our cider sponsor

I also need to mention both Barnsley Civic and The Parish Church of St Peter the Apostle and St John the Baptist, Barnsley for the use of the amazing venues, being so welcoming and supportive of the festival, both from me and all the volunteers and attendees we thank you both.

So that's not all, we have already making plans for both the Civic and St Peter's beer and cider festivals for next year, the dates for the Civic will be Thursday 29th April to Sunday 2nd May 2027. St Peter's will be Thursday 2nd September to Saturday 4th September 2027.

Lastly I would like to thank all that attended, you all made the festivals fantastic.

Please do look at the next local festivals we have Mapplewell Beer Festival next week at the new venue and we also have the return of CAMRA Sheffield & District beer festival at Kellham Island in October.
