🎾 Everything you need to know about Padel at Thorpe Farm!

Our brand-new indoor padel courts are officially OPEN, so whether you’re completely new to the sport or already padel-obsessed, here’s everything you need to know before you play…

📍 Where are the courts?
You’ll find the Padel Barn right here at Thorpe Farm, just off the A66 near Barnard Castle – ideally located for players from Darlington, Richmond, Barnard Castle and the surrounding area.

🎾 What courts do you have?
We have two indoor courts – one full-size doubles court and one singles court. Being completely undercover means you can play whatever the Yorkshire weather decides to do!

📱 How do I book?
All court bookings are made through the Playtomic app. Simply search for Thorpe Farm Padel Barn, choose your court and time, and book.

👟 Do I need my own equipment?
No! If you don’t have your own padel racket, equipment hire is available, so beginners are very welcome.

🙋 What if I don’t have anyone to play with?
Join our Thorpe Farm Padel WhatsApp group to connect with other local players, arrange games and find people at a similar level.

☕ Can beginners get involved?
Absolutely. Padel is easy to pick up, sociable and great fun even if you’ve never played before. Keep an eye out for our Academy sessions and social events too.

🌧️ And yes… it’s indoors!
No cancelled games because of wind, rain or dark evenings. Our courts are inside the Padel Barn, making them perfect for playing throughout autumn and winter.

We have two Scare Sessions running each night...
Family Scare Session - suitable for younger children and runs 4:00pm – 6:00pm
After dark Scare Session - 15+ and runs 7pm – 9pm
