A huge thank you to The Mermaid, Barmouth!

We were blown away this week by an incredibly generous act of kindness from The Mermaid Fish Bar.

Although they weren't able to host one of our collection boxes, owner Will kindly donated £200 from the shop's own earnings to support Wales Fish Mish. This completely unexpected gesture means so much to us, and we're truly grateful for such generous support.

The Mermaid has been a much-loved part of the Barmouth community since 1964, serving generations of locals and visitors alike. Today, Will and his dedicated team continue that tradition, not only by providing fantastic food but also by giving back to their community in such a meaningful way. After all, they don't have a queue out the door more often than not for nothing!

On behalf of everyone at Wales Fish Mish, thank you to Will and the whole team at The Mermaid for your generosity and kindness. Your donation will help us continue providing vital support to fishermen and their families when they need it most.
