The most pressure I’ve ever felt making a cake!🤪And half way through decorating it on a sweltering July morning, I get a phone call from Yazmin Annie “mum, my spray tan needs a quick touch up, ok if I come round now?” 🫠
Who knew the Mother of the Bride wore so many hats (no wonder I didn’t wear one to the wedding 😂) cake decorator, spray tanner, keeper of calm and organiser of much 😂😂 but, utterly exhausted as I am, I wouldn’t have changed a single thing, planning the wedding with my girl, for my girl, has been the most amazing joy and seeing it all come together on the day, even better than we envisaged, was just magical 🩷

Well wasn’t that the BEST DAY EVER! 🩷🩵 Oh my goodness what an utterly incredible day, filled with so much love and joy. The newly weds radiated happiness and it was just beautiful to witness. The whole day was utterly perfect in every way. To be surrounded by people so full of love and warmth for our girl and her new husband on their wedding day was beyond special and incredibly emotional. There was endless laughter and buckets of happy tears. It was such a magical day, I’m still grinning from ear to ear 🩷

Whilst I appreciate the AI assistance most of the time, occasionally it doesn’t quite hit the spot.

As a small business owner, I wear a lot of hats throughout the day, and often several at once, so I’ve started leaning into AI to help lighten the workload. But I’ve quickly realised that, brilliant as it can be, there are times when it has its limitations… and this was definitely one of them!

I think we can all agree that sometimes (well, most times!) a little human touch is still needed… a bit like my handmade branded biscuits!
