Whistlestop on the Pier Mario's Ice Cream Welcome to the Whistlestop on the Pier, we are situated in the blue hut halfway down the pier on the left.

We always try to use local ingredients to cook you fresh and wholesome food. Our Scuffins are the 'talk of the town', they are a secret recipe, made fresh daily, a cake which looks like a muffin and tastes like a scone, served with fresh cream and jam. All the ingredients for a perfect Cream Tea. Our famous Bara Brith is made at home in Menai Bridge and baked fresh everyday. There are lots of inte

resting things to see as you relax at Whistlestop. If you would like to borrow a pair of binoculars just ask. You will be sure of a warm welcome when you visit our little cafe with the big view....

Wow, that was busy 2 days, lots of advice, lots of fun and accurate measuring of the crabs to find the winner 🙄 Every child was a winner with a medal to prove it. Hope to have another crabbing competition soon. All crabs safely returned to the sea

Next from the Pier Summer Events calendar we have a free children’s Crabbing Competition, taking place this weekend. Come bring your crabbing gear and join us from 2pm on Saturday or Sunday. 2 categories - 7yrs & under and 8-12yrs old, with prizes to be won. We look forward to seeing what the biggest crab you can catch is!
