Fantastic news for the City - hopefully we'll see some of it on this side of the High Street!
🏗️ 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝘄𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗱'𝘀 £𝟲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
Bangor is set to benefit from Cyngor Gwynedd's £6 million Local Growth Fund. The funding includes plans to use health, wellbeing and leisure as part of the regeneration of Bangor city centre, including further work on the proposed Menai Health and Wellbeing Centre.
The package also includes county-wide support for businesses and new opportunities for graduates through a talent voucher scheme involving Bangor University.
The Cabinet has also identified Bangor city centre as a priority for future regional investment.
