🎉💚 HAPPY 85th BIRTHDAY, Isabel Caughey💚🎉

Today we want to wish a very special member of the Source family a wonderful 85th birthday!

Isabel started out as one of our loyal customers… but somewhere along the way we managed to turn her into our Chief Volunteer and Head of Dish Management! 😂☕🍽️

A few days every week, Isabel can be found keeping on top of the dishes, keeping us right and generally making herself an invaluable part of life at Source. We’re still not entirely sure whether she volunteered for the job or whether we just kept giving her dishes until she stopped trying to leave! 😂

But behind the joking is a very sincere thank you.

Isabel, your kindness, loyalty, friendship and willingness to help mean more to us than you probably realise. Source is about people, community and belonging — and you have become a very special part of ours. 💚

At 85 years young, you’re showing the rest of us how it’s done!

From all of us at Source, we hope your birthday is filled with the same warmth, laughter and kindness that you bring through our doors every week.

Happy 85th Birthday, Isabel. We love having you as part of our Source family. 🎂🥳💚

And everyone else… please leave Isabel a comment below and help us wish our Chief Volunteer a very HAPPY 85TH BIRTHDAY! 👇🎉🎂

Whether you’re part of a Men’s Group, Ladies’ Group, Seniors’ Group, Nursing Home, Church Group, Community Group or simply a group of friends who enjoy getting together — we’d love to welcome you to Source Coffee Shop.

Source is a relaxed, friendly place where you can sit back, enjoy a cuppa, something tasty to eat and, most importantly, good company and conversation.

We’re also More Than Just Coffee. Source is not-for-profit, and at the heart of what we do is creating opportunities for young adults with learning difficulties to gain experience, learn new skills, grow in confidence and feel part of something.

So when your group visits Source, you’re not only enjoying time together — you’re supporting something that really matters. 💚

If you organise a group, why not make Source your next coffee morning, catch-up or day out? Bring a few people or bring the whole group — we’d be delighted to see you.

🎬 A little throwback to April…

Back in April, we had the pleasure of opening Source after hours to provide a chill-out space for the cast and crew of Line of Duty while they were filming in the Bangor area.

It was great to welcome everyone into the café for a chance to relax, grab a coffee and take a break between scenes. We were delighted to play a small part in such an exciting production.

A big thank you to the cast and crew for choosing Source—we really enjoyed having you with us. We can’t wait to watch the finished programme and send our very best wishes to everyone involved.

Who knows… you might even spot a familiar Bangor location when it airs! 👀☕
