WHAT A WEEK! 🥳💙

Great people, great vibes and an amazing atmosphere. Bangor, THANK YOU! The reception since reopening has been incredible, and it’s meant so much to all of us.

A very warm welcome back to our locals and returning students, and a big hello to everyone joining us for the first time. Whether you’re a familiar face or a new one, we’re so pleased you’re here!

Thank you for bearing with us during the short closure while we took over. The new Castle is still far from the finished product, but we wanted those doors open in time for Freshers Week and seeing you all enjoying yourselves has made the hard work worth it.

There’s plenty more to come, with our new menu launching very soon alongside some amazing drink offers. Don’t forget to sign up to our loyalty app for free products and exclusive discounts on future purchases!

We’ve loved meeting so many of you already and can’t wait to meet more of you.

Let the party continue this weekend! See you at the bar 🍻

Richard, Craig, Jon, Sarah, Joseff & the rest of your friendly familiar Castle team x

Am Wythnos!! 🥳💙

Pobl wych, ‘feibs’ gwych ac awyrgylch anhygoel ym Mangor—DIOLCH. Mae'r ymateb ers agor wedi bod yn anhygoel. Mae wedi golygu cymaint i ni.

Croeso cynnes yn ôl i'n cwsmeriaid lleol, a chroeso cynnes i bawb sy'n ymuno â ni am y tro cyntaf. P'un a ydych chi'n newydd neu wedi ymweld o'r blaen, rydym mor falch o'ch cael chi yma.

Diolch am aros gyda ni yn ystod y cyfnod byr roeddem ar gau. Nid yw'r 'Castell' newydd wedi'i orffen o bell ffordd, ond roeddem eisiau agor ar gyfer Wythnos Freshers, ac mae gweld pawb yn hapus wedi codi ein calon yn fawr.

Mae yna mwy o waith i'w wneud; mae ein bwydlen newydd bron yn barod i chi, ynghyd â diodydd newydd. Peidiwch ag anghofio cofrestru ar gyfer ein ap pwrpasol i gael diodydd am ddim a gostyngiadau yn y dyfodol.

Roeddem mor hapus i'ch gweld chi ac rydym yn edrych ymlaen at eich gweld eto.

Gadewch i'r parti barhau—welwn ni chi wrth y bar.

Richard, Craig, Jon, Sarah, Joseff a gweddill tîm y Castell x.

After being closed for a short period, we’re so excited to finally be opening our doors again and this time, under new ownership!
A lot has been happening behind the scenes, with plenty of exciting changes and new ideas coming together. We’ve been working hard to create something fresh, welcoming and, most importantly, somewhere you’ll love coming back to.

After many incredible years, we’re closing our doors for a short while.

The Castle has been more than just a pub – it’s been a place where we’ve celebrated the small moments and the big occasions together. From birthdays and after‑work drinks to tense matchdays and unforgettable nights, we’ve shared so many special memories, and we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our guests and the local community for your loyalty and support.

We’d love you to join the team tomorrow for a final ‘cheers’.

After a brief closure, the venue will be reopening under new ownership with Bosworth Leisure and will continue serving the community for many more years to come. The team look forward to welcoming you all back very soon.

Keep an eye on our socials for updates and when we will be re-opening our doors. We already can't wait to have you all back in our lovely little pub.
