Here’s what’s serving this Friday 18th Sept evening:

🥪 SANDS Club Sandwich (£13.95): Triple layer toast with Downies of Whitehills breaded fish goujons, lettuce & tomato, served with crisps & slaw (choose tartar sauce or ketchup!).
🫒 ‘Posh Picky Bits’: Scottish cheeses, fine cured meats, pâtés, fruits & local pickles with artisan crackers, rustic sourdough bread. Great for one or to share! (Solo £10.95 / Share £15.95)
🥔 Loaded Hot Baked Tatties (£9.95): Local baked potatoes loaded with Honey Chilli Chicken, Scottish Cheddar, or Tuna Mayo - served with crisps & house slaw.

👧👦🏽For the Wee Ones: Kids’ portions available, including the Kids Club Sandwich (£5.75) (breaded fish goujons on white or malted bloomer). Simple kids’ sandwiches are also available. We also have colouring in and some games to try and keep them entertained 😉

🍔 Guna’s Burgers are BACK at Sands Café & Deli this Saturday and Sunday for lunch.

After flying out the door last weekend, Guna is back behind the grill and we have leveled up the menu. Serving from 11:45am to 3pm, our Aberdeen Angus beef burgers and breaded chicken burgers are both gluten-free for £10.95, and we have gluten-free rolls available so everyone can enjoy them.

Guna is making her fabulous cheese sauce using Smoked Cheddar from The Island Smokery of Orkney and this time you can choose between a plain cheese sauce or adding a delicious kick of Wee K**b of Butter Harissa Butter.

You can also buy blocks of the Island Smokery cheese or various flavours of Wee K**b to take home straight from our deli counter.
For extra variety, we have vegetarian options as well as limited stock of Little Rowater venison burgers for £12.95.

Every burger comes served with crisps and slaw.

You can customise yours with No.10 Butchers smoked back bacon and crispy battered onion rings, at no extra cost, then wash it all down with one of our bestseller soft drinks.

A little change to our service routine☕️✨

Starting today, we are moving from table service to ordering and paying at the till when you arrive.

As a small independent business, keeping things running smoothly is everything to us.
Unfortunately, we’ve experienced a few walkouts recently - an issue apparently affecting a few other local businesses in our area.

While we were so grateful to a kind customer who called today to pay after accidentally forgetting yesterday, as a small team we simply can’t afford to take the risk.

Moving to till payment helps protect our little cafe while keeping service easier for everyone😊

Breakfast: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM (like our poached eggs on sourdough! 🥚)

Lunch: 11:45 AM – 3:00 PM (Daily specials today are Broccoli & Cauliflower Soup, Loaded Tattie with Honey Chilli Chicken, Portsoy Hot Smoked Salmon Toasted Bagel)

Hot drinks & tray bakes: All day until 4:00 PM 😋
