This award-winning Basque sheep’s milk cheese is wonderfully rich, creamy, and full of flavour. It’s a fantastic addition to any cheeseboard and pairs beautifully with black cherry or bramble preserve.

Our beautiful Brie Dongé has arrived! Handmade in France using traditional methods, it’s wonderfully smooth and creamy with delicate fruity notes and a lovely nutty finish. A real treat with a glass of Champagne or Pinot Noir.

Just a wee reminder that we’re open 10.30am - 4pm today, so if you’re passing by for a great coffee, matcha, or ube latte, why not treat yourself to a slice of cake or one of our freshly made sandwiches too? ☕🍵🍰

After a busy Saturday, we’re eagerly awaiting our Wednesday cheese delivery! In the meantime, our counter is still packed with plenty of favourites, including Taleggio DOP, Bleu d’Auvergne, Emmental, Connage Gouda, Wensleydale, White Stilton, plus two delicious goat’s cheeses – Rachel and the beautiful Ribblesdale Honey Goat’s Logs. 🧀

Apologies for the late post - we’ve been keeping busy this morning! 😊

🧀 As promised, our new cheese has arrived…

If you’re a fan of Prima Donna, we’d love you to try Old Amsterdam. This aged Dutch Gouda-style cheese has a rich, savoury flavour with notes of caramel, a hint of saltiness, and those irresistible crunchy crystals.

Why not pop in for a wee taster? We’ll be serving it with Plum & Balsamic Chutney on a Miller’s Buttermilk Wafer. We’d love to hear your verdict - is it a 👍 or a 👎?

It’s that Friday feeling… and whatever your flavour (what’s your flava’, tell me what’s your flava 🎶), pop by and sample some of the delicious cheeses we have on offer!

We’re still stocked with the wonderful Rachel Gouda Style Alpine Goat’s Cheese, alongside the much-loved Tomme des Croquants, rubbed in walnut liqueur. If you’re a walnut lover, this one’s definitely for you!

Our triple cream Montagnolo Affiné remains a counter favourite – beautifully creamy, indulgent and decadently blue.

This afternoon we’re also taking delivery of our popular Honey Goat’s Logs once again. And, as promised… we have a very special cheese arriving that’s ready to give Prima Donna a run for its money. 😉 We’ll reveal all tomorrow morning, with a little tasting for everyone!

🌧️ Good morning!

The weather might be a little dreich, but we’re not letting that dampen our spirits! Whether you’re planning a cosy movie night 🍿 or catching up with friends, we’ve got plenty of the good stuff to see you through.

🧀 This week’s spotlight is our Wookey Hole Cave Aged Cheddar.

Matured 200 feet underground in the famous Wookey Hole Caves, this exceptional cheddar has a rich, nutty flavour and wonderfully smooth texture. Pair it with Chilli Onion Jam or Caramelised Onion Chutney, Miller’s Ale Crackers, and your favourite tipple for the perfect cheeseboard. 🍷

⏰ A quick reminder: We’ll be closing early today at 3.30pm and then taking a short break, reopening on Thursday 24th July.

So if you need your favourite cheeses - or fancy trying something new - be sure to pop in before we close.
