We currently get our flowers and a lot of our vegetables from The Seed Box. They also supplied our beautiful hanging baskets 🌼. They are an amazing local organisation who offer ‘Horticultural & Outdoor Therapy and Training for People with Additional Support Needs’ here in Deeside. They also collect our coffee grounds every week to use in their gardens, so nothing goes to waste! If you’ve not heard about them, and you’d like to support them or grab some lovely locally grown flowers or veg, they are really worth checking out 😊

Another bit of past life creeping into the café is Sticky Masala Chai, which I enjoyed for years in Australia. It’s properly spiced and sticky, naturally sweetened with honey, and makes for a really lovely comforting drink.
We’ve tested out various spots but it’s best drank sitting at the window watching the world go by 😉
