Our philosophy is straightforward: "choose local seasonal ingredients carefully and cook them as simply as possible" thus supporting the Aberdeenshire community and providing a showcase for quality, fresh and seasonal Scottish produce. Our menu includes a mix of customer favourites, traditional Scottish dishes and daily specials, sandwiches, paninis, coffee/tea, cakes and bakes. Our fish and chip

shop opened in October 2015 and has proven very popular. Fresh local fish arrives daily along with the usual range of chicken, pies, burgers and puddings. Our spacious, modern venue is also available for weddings, private hires, corporate groups and special events.

Due to staff holidays, we will only be serving these menus in the following days:-

Friday (today) lunch - Senior lunch menu only
Friday (today) dinner - Normal dinner menu

Saturday 27th lunch - Regular lunch menu only (NO senior menu) - there are senior options on the regular menu
Saturday 27th dinner - normal dinner menu

Sunday 28th lunch - NO fish and chips
Sunday 28th supper - Fish and chip menu

Massive apologies to all our customers and thank you so much for your patience on what has been an exceptionally trying evening for everyone at the Chipper.

Computer system running the online orders crashed so no tickets were being printed . Completely out with our control and obviously there have been huge delays as a result.

We have no idea why, ICR are looking in to it, but we had to revert to hand writing tickets etc. eventually at 5pm everything came churning out all at once.

For those of you that remained calm and polite, thank you so much from all the staff who were doing their utmost to get your orders written and served.
