Our latest update for you is that the wonderful Hawkstone Brewery are sending in a tech team to install our chillers, fonts, etc so that from 8th August we will have a selection of Hawkstone draught beers for sale here at The Old Coal Wharf. Sounds like a good day for a grand opening?

Festival stalls…

We still have a number of spaces available for stalls over the festival period.

We have sent messages to several people who have enquired, but apparently the messages go straight to a hidden message folder if the person isn’t our friend on FB.

Hi folks,

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has called in and shared their good wishes with us.

We are busy at The Old Coal Wharf: the toilets have been entirely rebuilt, we’re refurbishing the barn and kitchen area, and we’ve taken delivery of our new coffee machine that we hope you all grow to love as much as we already do.

Our first crafters will be joining us over the coming weeks. Our craft stalls will be operational all year round with some very talented people producing their wonderful wares in front of your very eyes.

On the sensitive subject of the August festival week: we are planning four days of live music, for which we hope many of you will join us. We will also be supplementing our year round coffee shop offering with professional caterers who we’re certain will go down very well.

Details to follow. Look out for an announcement on our opening.
