Meet Daniel, the new(ish) manager at Blake’s Clanfield.

We recently caught up with him to ask important questions… like what’s coming up on the menu at Clanfield, and if he could only eat one thing from Blake’s for the rest of his life, what would it be?

We’ve also got some yummy new salads that have arrived, including:

• Sun-dried tomato, rocket & Parmesan salad

Build your own by choosing any three salads from our daily selection. Think vibrant seasonal ingredients, colourful flavours and plenty of fresh goodness (our salads change regularly, so there’s always something new to try).

Now it’s officially summer, it’s the perfect excuse to stop by for a fresh salad and one of our cold drink specials.

Our sourdough isn’t delivered from miles away.

It’s baked right here at Blake’s Kitchen, in the bakery you’ll see just beyond the counter at our Witney café.

From our classic Large White Sourdough to the Blake’s Malt Crunch Sourdough and our Seeded Molasses Loaf, every loaf is baked fresh on site by our team.

Take one home, tear off a warm slice to dunk into aioli, pile high with bruschetta, or simply toast it for a slow morning with a cup of tea in the garden.

This heatwave is intense.

Luckily, both our Witney and Clanfield cafés are fully air-conditioned, with plenty of cold drinks, fresh salads and shady spots to help you cool down.

If you’re looking for a place to escape the heat, we’ll see you soon.

We know everyone says customer service matters, but it genuinely does to us. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee, meeting friends for brunch or grabbing a loaf on the way home, we want you to leave feeling looked after.

A lot of that comes down to our team. The people taking your order, making your coffee, serving your food and somehow remembering half of you by name.

So here’s a little appreciation post for the people who keep Blake’s running every day.
