Friday is almost here, and that can only mean one thing at The Anglers… FISH FRIDAY! 🐟

Freshly battered fish, chunky chips and all the trimmings. Just £12 to take away or £15 to eat in!

And if fish isn’t your thing, we’ve got plenty of other delicious dishes on the menu to keep you well fed all weekend.

Good food, a few pints and no washing up. Sounds like a decent weekend to us! 🍻

It’s National Curry Week… and the timing couldn’t be better. 🌶️

Tomorrow night is our Kingfisher B**r Curry Night at The Anglers — proper curries, cold pints and a very good reason to leave the cooking to us.

And once you’re suitably fed, stick around for our Wednesday night quiz from 8:30pm!

It’s Spotlight Night! 🎶

The first Thursday of every month, we shine a spotlight on a different local talent — and tonight it’s the turn of Mason’s Apron!
Father-and-daughter duo Philip and Samantha will be bringing an evening of Irish folk, ballads, jigs and reels to The Anglers, with guitar, fiddle, whistles, bodhrán and plenty more.

Come along, grab a pint and support some brilliant local talent!

🎱 Pizza & Pool tomorrow night at The Anglers! 🍕

£10 pizzas, free pool — a pretty solid Tuesday if you ask us.

BUT… we’re thinking of getting a little Anglers Pool League going on a Tuesday night and want to see who’d be up for it!We’re thinking £1 to play each week, with cash prizes up for grabs!

🎤 Karaoke & Disco — back from 8.30pm with the one and only Bob Malloy!

Fish & chips, cocktails, then questionable singing and even more questionable dance moves. That’s Friday sorted. 😂

🐾 Dog owners of Bamford — we need your opinion!

We’re looking at having Fur-tabulous Mobile Pet Spa come and set up in The Anglers car park for dog grooming 🐶

Before we get anything booked in, we want to know how many of you would be interested in bringing your four-legged regulars along for a pamper?

A HUGE Cheers to The Anglers Rest for their donation of £500 to Bamford Carnival Committee. The donation being proceeds from The Carnival B**r Festival. All donations support local groups such as Bamford Pre School / Bamford Tennis Club . If you know of a local project which needs some support please email details to [email protected]
