Our exceptionally talented Chef de Partie, Olivia, creates dishes that taste every bit as wonderful as they look. From beautifully presented classics, to irresistible new desserts, she has a meticulous eye for detail with every dish that leaves the kitchen.

My passion for cooking stems from the concept of food bringing people together. My earliest and fondest memories include family time around the table at my grandmas house - I miss those times.

My favourite dish is the trout - cooking seasonally and locally is so important to help the environment and local suppliers.

The thing I enjoy most about my job is all the opportunities to learn. The hospitality industry is constantly evolving and changing. Just when I think I’ve got to grips with it I find a whole new world of food that I didn’t know existed!

The most challenging thing I’ve learnt so far is discipline. The hours are long, service is hectic, but keeping a strong head is the drive that makes you want to come back and do it all again the next day.

There’s many people that inspire me but strong female leaders like Kate Austen and Sally Abe are definitely up there. I’d love to have my own business one day.

Our traditional Sunday Roasts are served with crispy roast potatoes, giant Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables and lashings of rich homemade gravy.

There are few things more wonderfully British than a proper Fish & Chips dinner! 🍽️

Golden, crisp battered fish, chunky chips, homemade tartare sauce, and your choice of garden peas or traditional mushy peas. Add a generous pinch of salt and you’ve got a plateful of pure British comfort. πŸ˜‹

Perfect after a day exploring the beautiful Peak District, and even better enjoyed with a refreshing drink on our terrace. 🌞🍺

took tons of shots but by far the weirdest is this one with my sheepies in the shop , something to left of them which i think is a cromatic aberration has actually got the eclipse in it if you zoom in , would love someone technical to tell me what happened here as i did not alter a single thing its how it came out of my iphone
