Well folks I got early release for good behaviour 😂😂😂

In all seriousness tho,I did get discharged yesterday evening,
Back home to rest for a few days before getting back to it next week, 🤫🤫🤫
Don’t be coming at me,I’ve been given the go ahead by docs ☺️☺️☺️ well as long as I’m feeling up to it 🙈

Well folks,unfortunately shop will not open as planned today…..
I was admitted to hospital on Monday & still here for ongoing tests & examinations….

While Mr L is back at home,he is keeping our boys in check and making sure they aren’t stressing out to much without me.

Thanks to all those who have messaged and sent well wishes,they are greatly appreciated.

We will be back as soon as it’s physically possible.

Apologies to those who have the Wednesday Chinese routine planned ☺️

To all you lovely folk out there….

It’s been a tough decision but it’s been made,
Shop WONT open today (Sunday 31st May) due to my own selfishness to be honest!

As some or most know I’ve still not fully recovered from my ordeal while we were away and I have done my utmost best to plough on to serve all you lovely people for the last 5 weeks… but this week has really kicked ass with me and resulted in yet another doctor visit,and with that I’ve yet another lung and blood infection,and as much as I love seeing all your lovely faces walking through our doors,today I’m just not feeling it,my breathing is laboured,my legs are swollen & heavy and just feeling all round exhausted….
I’m truely sorry for any inconvenience caused by my selfishness but I do hope you all understand…

Your persistent support is always welcomed and is truely appreciated 😊

With this Saturday 23rd May being the final day of the Mayfair & cullens_amusements,why not show your support and join them for a fun filled day from 12noon,

Then later in the evening there’s Protestant Boys annual parade where they themselves start off the procession with a short walk of the route at 6pm before the main parade at 7pm & afterwards music and drinks in Ballyclare Linfield supporters club (The Blues as most know it by)

Due to the parade we won’t be offering a delivery service,but collections & walk-ins are welcomed…
No matter how you choose to spend this Saturday,stay safe and have a great weekend!!!

🚗 Charity Run Announcement – Belfast to Benidorm! 🚗
We’re a family of 4 (mum, dad + kids aged 10 & 6) taking on our first ever charity challenge in September 2026:
Belfast to Benidorm — 1,400 miles in a £600 banger!
We’re doing this to raise vital funds and awareness for Breaker Breaker, a charity supporting men’s mental health in the haulage industry.
Husband works in haulage and knows firsthand the extreme pressures, long hours, time away from family, and the heavy mental load that comes with the job. As a family we see the impact it has — the milestones missed, the exhaustion, and the silent struggles so many drivers face. We want to help change that.
We’ve been following the incredible Rat Run challenges for a couple of years and have seen the difference they make. Now it’s our turn to step up and do our bit.
We’re looking for sponsors and support!
Every mile, every pound, and every share will help Breaker Breaker continue their brilliant work supporting men in the industry who need it most.

Well Hello hello folks….

As some may know we finally made it home safely,
I have been inundated with messages to see when shop will be reopening….

News on the ground is WEDNESDAY 22nd APRIL!!!

This is selfish of us I know,but it also gives us time to get fresh produce and prep done before hand….unfortunately we don’t have that magic wand that some seem to think does all the hard work 😂😂😂 although I’m in a much better place in health than I was several weeks ago,I’m not back to 100% just yet….so it also allows me myself to edge into work at a slower pace without having to push myself for 10/12hrs per day to get everything finished.

I hope this helps in guidance to our reopening schedule,

Dare I say after leaving to start our travels yesterday (3.30pm Malay time) 6.30am uk time,…we finally reached home at 4.15pm this afternoon!!!!

All I can say is,that was one long asses journey,we will update on opening day,but for now it’s a GOODNIGHT ALL ☺️☺️
