What a Sunday! 🇬🇷❤️
On Sunday, 6th September, Kingsbrook and Broughton Church gathered together outside Kingsbrook View — and we had the absolute pleasure of sharing our Greek food with this wonderful community.
But this one meant a little more to us. ❤️
Every penny of profit from the day was donated to Tearfund, with £140 going towards the Nepal appeal and £140 towards the Venezuela appeal — £280 raised in total.
We want to say the biggest THANK YOU to this incredible community. To every one of you who chose to spend part of your Sunday afternoon with us, who came specifically to enjoy our food and support these causes — we appreciate you more than you know.
For us, The Souvlaki House has always been about more than serving Greek food. It is about bringing people together, sharing the Greek hospitality we grew up with and giving something back whenever we can. 🇬🇷
Seeing people gather around our food, knowing that at the same time we were helping people thousands of miles away, made this Sunday particularly special.
Good food. Good people. A good cause. ❤️
Thank you, Kingsbrook and Broughton, for showing once again what a beautiful community can achieve when it comes together.
Με αγάπη — with love,
The Souvlaki House 🇬🇷❤️
