Big news from our kitchen

We’re delighted to welcome Chef Colin Smith as our new Head Chef. A familiar face in Aviemore, Colin has spent over 30 years shaping the local food scene and earning the respect of colleagues and guests alike.

Julie is still at the helm of our cakes and sweet treats (don’t worry, her cakes, scones, and traybakes aren’t going anywhere ).

For now, our menu continues as you know it — but look out at the end of the month as Colin begins to put his stamp on The View

What do you get when you cross a croissant with a chocolate Tart?
A chocolate Crossart obviously!
At the view we believe fresh, flaky buttery pastry should be in more than just croissants, that's why we have croffles and now chocolate croissarts!

So we kept you hanging long enough.
We are absolutely over the moon too have supplied our first cafe for what is there roaster of the month.
The View Aviemore will be providing you with Neptunes coffee for the month ahead and has a few bags available to purchase too.
This cafe is in the heart of aviemore one of our personal favourite places to visit and this is a perfect place to stop for a great bite to eat as well as a coffee.. we sampled the breakfast menu and it was delicious.
Exciting times.
