“THAT’S ALL FOR NOW FOLKS”

Well well well, where do we start?

Cannot believe it’s time for the doors at roos to close forever here in Aviemore. Our last Monster Bobs have been served and last bundabergs been poured. 🐨🌿

It’s been an absolute pleasure hosting so many wonderful people over the last 10+ years with so many ‘regulars’; we can’t even begin to thank you enough for coming back again and again and again.

As one door closes, another one does open! We won’t be closed for too long and we’d love our customers to come and try our the new restaurant in the future 🍸🍔. The staff will definitely be excited to see friendly faces 😇!

Don’t forget, if you crazy Roos fans still need your fix - our Montrose branch is still open (any excuse for a road trip) 🚗.

Once again, thank you to everyone who has paid us a visit and left with a smile. Thank you for giving an Australian restaurant, with a Mexican menu, in the Highlands of Scotland a try! You must think we’re crazy! 🌮🍤

“YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE IT”, it’s our final week as Roos Leap! 😫

On Sunday at 9 o’clock, we close our doors down under for the last time and it’s a bittersweet time for all the staff here at roos!

With summer fast approaching and the temperatures soaring in Aviemore to Aussie like highs 🌞Opportunities have become available to join our fantastic, friendly team here at Roo’s Leap Aviemore for full time, part time and seasonal staff both front of house and kitchen. Previous experience a plus but not essential as full training will be given.

We are recruiting for the following positions:

Head chef - we are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to come join our team. The right candidate will have similar experience. Rate of pay is £11 per hour with a five day week.

Chef/cook - full training can be given for this roll if no previous experience. You will be good at communicating and time management. Rate of pay is starting at £8.50 per hour depending on experience, working a five day week.

Seasonal staff - we are looking for seasonal front of house members and kitchen porters. Good rate of pay and full/part time hours available.

All roles are paid weekly and all members of staff get a share of tips.
