Dear Bird hiders! The Parkin brothers are making our first advert for the pub and we need your help. If you can be free Friday evening around 4.30 for an hour or two and want to take part, message me or email [email protected]. Send a photo too! Let us know if you have some binoculars or scope. We're going after a very special bird.

Hello folks! Keeping it simple this week, with a new beer from fullmash, something Simcoe! And another football beer to help drown your sorrows when England go out. We're not showing the game tonight so if you want to hide in peace with me I'll be there from 5pm!

Some nice bargain Ales to be had as well, not much left so grab them while you can.

No quiz this week (that's 2nd and 4th Thursday) so come relax with a beer anytime.

T-minus about an hour to opening. Air con WILL be on today so come join us for a beer! Lots happening on that front, some amazing beers on offer, be quick as they're gonna run out real quick. Especially Pub Tropicana which I never promoted but nearly sold out In a day on Sunday.

England did not win their latest, but we're not Ghana dwell on it. More beer in support of the Pan-Earth Global Kick-around from this time with Patiently Waiting. Have a pint of this while you do, it could be some time! We have a new one from fullmash Equal Alpha and a couple of Keg beers with Doom Scroller from BTE and a nice (strong) lager from local boys Alter Ego Brewing Co. Might take a while to get these working after our old Keg Machine gave up last week but hopefully won't take long!

Finally, it's the quiz. Count Quackular and Actual-Drake have called it, and it's the fourth Thursday so it's on! Join us for fun, beers, questions and air con Thursday from 8pm.

Two posts in a day? What what?! Well, here's some beer updates for you all. The global soccer ball championship is due to start this week, while we won't be showing the games, I will be selling a few related beers starting with The Beautiful Game. For IPA fans we have a superb new one from with Fetch The Vicar.

We have a few discount beers available starting at 2.99 so get them while they last if you want a bargain.

It's quiz night on Thursday, starting at 8pm as usual with our usual prizes. The Jackpot reset recently but will build up as we go if nobody claims it. £65 this week!

This week it's ALL CHANGE on the ale and craft front. Which means no Wednesday discounts. Oh, apart from cheap pints of Infinity. There is that. About 10 left so get down early for that.

And, we have a huge selection of wondrous beers. Two bird related, love it. Angry Bird for the Red Ale fans, Toucan Tropic for that double dry hopped cold-and-crafty edge. are on the list with Hellup, a tasty Helles Lager (yes, we do lagers but none of the crap you get in other mainstream pubs). A brand new stout from Nightbus to Nowhere! who, if you didn't know have joined forces with Hide favourites are here with Pine Strike, an APA to be savoured. We haven't given up on the Mild Trail either and Mikado Mild is here this week and we do have more stickers for the trail if you're collecting them. Then, a GF option for the stronger IPA fan with Abduction. The smell when opening this made my nostrils want to drink a pint.

No quizzes, no events just good old fashioned friendly Micropub goodness. Come join us, the team look forward to seeing you.
