Hello Hiders! Well look what's coming tonight! It's been a while sorting but we're back with some AAA Pork Crackling and now it's warm! We will be launching this on-the-fly later tonight (Thursday 1st October).

W**e night tickets are now available so grab a place while you can. Imperial Stout night tickets will go on sale from next week.

We've got a few new b**rs to try, a new England IPA from Pig & Porter, unchained melody from Castle Rock Brewery and a Collab Porter from Gasman Brews and Lenton Lane Brewery. Down to our last two boxes of Attenborough Ale too!

Lots happening this week, first up! We have 25 bottles of Attenborough Ale to sell over Scarecrow Festival week. They might not last until the weekend though, these are the last of these.

Join in the festival this Saturday and Sunday. We've not been involved in organising it this year but will have maps available from 12pm each day. And you can post your map back with your vote for best Scarecrow too. The draw for the winner will take place on Sunday 27th at around 7pm at the pub, or watch the broadcast on Facebook. And it's our 100th quiz! Can you believe it? Join us for a very special one and £100 in cash prizes. Tables are mostly booked, but please contact me and I'll squeeze you in. 'Walk ins' also welcome but may be outside.

So many new b**rs to try. Have a look through the pictures but a special mention goes to Lenton Lane Brewery for their 700th guile. Well done to Jack, Scott and the team for knocking out belter after belter of great ale; keep it up to 800! Try this now at the hide, with caution. It's a wee bit powerful.

We're nearly at our 100th quiz! £100 to give away (and more prizes). Final chance to book a table, email or message. If you have already and haven't heard back try again please. Walk-ins okay. We'll try and fit everyone even if it's outside.

And also a plug for another event. There's a good choice of music on 3rd October. The first is one of the biggest music events to happen in the area, has raised loads of money for charity every year, and features some great musicians and singers in a really fun night. The other is Oxjam.

So if you want tickets to Bandeoke, check the link on the pic or pay on the door. I'll be there to help run the bar and supply some local cask ales too!

Aloha! Nothing says nice weather like Hawaii, so we're celebrating the end of summer, the 21 degree heat and having the fantastic Ashover Brew Co Hawaiin Shirt b**r. It'll be all things tropical, so come along in your best Hawaiin shirt this Friday 18th September, and let's have some fun. Best shirt wins a mini keg of Lenton Lane b**r! We have garlands and some kind of cocktails. Just being yourself and the shirt.

Thursday brings us our 99th official Wise Owl Quiz. The usual shinanigans this time, £65 jackpot so far, 160 cards. 4 rounds, £10 gift card and a packet of crisps!

The 100th quiz is also coming, on the 24th. I will be taking reservations for that so get in touch. £100 of cash prizes, some extras too. That should be special.
