The look of that lobster caught your eye? 🦞

Now the temperates are cooling down we’ve switched up our specials menu… Our seafood tower remains but as a hot version instead. All fresh, whole lobster either grilled with garlic butter or baked Thermidor, crabs claws and king prawns.

A new version of the burrata, a delicious pan fried duck breast and creamy baked dauphinoise potatoes… Bellissimo! 🤌🏼

We’re getting ready for a very special festive season with plenty to look forward to throughout December… Our popular cocktails & carols event is just the start of what we’ve got planned.

Christmas Day is fully booked for dining but our bar will be open for anyone wishing to join us for a festive tipple.

For almost nearly two decades, we’ve had the privilege of being part of so many of your special moments — first dates, birthdays, anniversaries, family celebrations, weddings, proposals, and everything in between

Now, we want to hear your stories from the table… Tell us about your favourite San Giovanni moment, a milestone you celebrated with us, a person you shared a table with, or simply a memory that has stayed with you

📢 NOW HIRING - RESTAURANT MANAGER 📢

As we approach our 20th year of business, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual with at least 3 years experience of working within a professional restaurant setting to join our family.

We are currently on the lookout for an additional restaurant manager to work alongside the current manager and under our general manager in the day to day running of our busy restaurant.

We are open from midday 7 days a week and being able to work weekends and evenings is essential due to the nature of the business.

We are looking for a motivated and trustworthy individual to bring something new to our current front of house team and continue to drive our business forward. This could be a great new challenge for the right individual.

Key responsibilities you have will include:
Interacting with our clientele to provide excellent customer service

Being able to confidently manage a team of staff and to motivate them on a day to day basis

Deal with busy footfall of the restaurant

Being able to work with our Epos till systems

Daily use of our reservations system Open
Table and responding to email and telephone reservations

Being able to process orders for wines, linen etc

Produce weekly rotas to efficiently staff the restaurant

Be a key holder of the premises

Take payments of both cash and card transactions and to cash up at the end of day

To support and train new staff that come into the restaurant

Deal appropriately with any customer requests that are put to you

Liaising with the kitchen team to ensure quality of food and correct presentation

Salary is dependent on experience and tips are on top of this and the job includes many perks.

Due to our location driving is advantageous.

Now hiring - Restaurant Caretaker

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy Restaurant Caretaker to help keep the restaurant premises and grounds clean, safe, secure and well maintained. Working hours will be 7am - 10am working Monday - Thursday.

Responsibilities:
- Open and unlock the gates and restaurant premises
- Carry out general upkeep of the restaurant grounds, entrances and patios
- Complete basic maintenance and minor repairs where appropriate
- Watering of plants in outdoor areas

Requirements:
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Practical and confident in carrying out general maintenance tasks
- Organised and takes pride in their work
- Able to work independently
- Must be able to provide references

As much as we are loving this sunny Summer, the temperatures yesterday and today are extremely high and, as always, our staff are working very hard in these warm temperatures to keep our customers comfortable, happy and full!
