It’s always difficult to have anything come to an end.

With all the hopes, dreams and anticipation of what could potentially of been magical, has now gone……..well at least till the next tournament.

Thank you too everyone who came down, for all the negatives of the final result it was itself magical seeing so many of you here to watch the game.

The lights have now been turned off here at the Bushel for this World Cup.

Let’s see what happens in the Euros in 2028 when it’s held in our own backyard.

It was the 22nd of June 1986 when the infamous’Hand of God’ goal was given at the Argentina Vs England at the Mexico World Cup.

England were knocked out and for over 40 years this has hung over all England fans heads.

At the time the political tension between the two countries was……….lets just say not at their best!

Back then its was Maradona that was their leading Talisman, Today it’s Messi.

Can Captain Kane and his Merry band of brothers temper the talents of the little guy???

Tonight England have the opportunity to take themselves through to a World Cup final since 1966.

With live coverage in our function room from 7.00pm and kick off at 8.00pm are any of Englands players going to be the next Bobby Moore, Sir Jeff Hurst or Bobby Charlton????

Thank you to everyone who came down last night to watch the game. It was a fantastic evening and amazing to see the room so full.

So Captain Kane and his marry band of brothers have soldiered on to book themselves a place in the semi finals against Argentina on Wednesday evening. I have said it before, they are not making this easy for themselves!

We will be showing the game on Wednesday with kick off at 8.00pm. The picture above Declan is craving some pizza, who would we be to refuse him and everyone else a little slice (of the action) on the evening of the game.
We all need some fuel to help us through these stressful moments!!!
