Morning everyone,

We will be back open today at the usual time of 2PM

If you haven't already seen, our beloved Kai passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning

Joe and I probably won't be on the bar much today, but I'm going to try and get down at around 7pm to say hello, and say a few words in memory of Kai. It would mean the world to see all of you there

We will be asking for donations to go towards Kai's funeral fund if anyone can donate. Most of you probably know how bloody expensive funerals are, so any help is massively appreciated.

Thank you for all your kind words and offers of support. This isn't something anyone should ever have to know how to deal with, but I'm glad we have to do it here, amongst such an incredibly supportive and wonderful community

Kai's sister has set up a page to help raise some money towards his funeral. As a lot of people will know funerals are bloody expensive, so if anybody has any spare pennies we would be so so grateful x

Hi everyone,

Our brother Kai passed away in the early hours of this morning.

While we have only been here a short while in the grand scheme of things, I know how much Kai thought of so many of you, and how much he was loved in return by you all.

We obviously have so much to deal with and consider, but for right now we're just trying to enjoy our memories of our sweet, thoughtful, kind, and funny friend.

The pub will be back open on Friday at 2pm as usual, but understandably it might be a while before you see Joe and I back behind the bar.

If we're feeling up to it, we may be around Friday evening to say hello, and share a word or two about our lovely Kai.
