Hi Everyone,

Sorry to muck you all about but we’re going to have to temporarily shut again. Mandie felt able to reopen yesterday but it was harder than expected and it has exhausted her. So we have decided to concentrate on her wellbeing and look to reopen when she is feeling better.

Hi everyone, we’d like to introduce our Christmas Party Menu 2025. At only £24.50 per person (plus a 10% service charge) it offers great value and a range of our most popular dishes. We’re also fully licensed and offer a hand-picked range of reasonably priced, independently produced, Spanish wines, beers and cider. Plus spirits, mixers, soft drinks and good coffee.

As well as friends and familes, we’re a terrific choice for smaller businesses or departments, as we can accommodate up to 20 people at a time in our warm, relaxed and intimate restaurant.
Another plus is there’s fair-priced and ample council provided parking across the road and alongside us too.

Christmas Opening Times:

Tuesday 23rd December: 4 until 8pm
Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24th December): 2 until 11pm
Christmas Day: Closed
Boxing Day: Closed
Saturday 27th December: 12 until 11pm
Sunday 28th December: 12 until 8pm
Tuesday 30th December: 4 until 8pm
New Year’s Eve (Wednesday 31st December): 2 until 11pm
New Year’s Day (1st January 2026): Closed
Friday 2nd January 2026 and onwards: Usual hours resume.

Our fish suppliers can source lot of great fresh seafood which is ideal as we’ve had many people interested in our Seafood Platters.

Fresh Cornish Sardines are in back in season and back on our Specials board. It's a short Summer season, usually a couple of weeks give or take, so we make sure we order ours as soon as they get landed. Mandie simply panfries the fresh sardine fillets in olive oil and adds sea salt, pepper and lemon juice and that’s it, they’re ready.

Hi everyone, if you can believe it, we’re celebrating our 8th year of opening. So we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of you for supporting us over the years. The photo shows Chef/Owner Mandie and her sister Alex who was helping out Front-of-House, opening the door on our first day on Friday 18th August 2017.
