I can’t believe I actually have to write this post, especially after only starting the promotion on Saturday.
Can the Pokémon card collectors out there please STOP calling the shop or sending me private messages asking if you can go through the Pokémon cards, pick the ones you want, or offering to pay market value for the rare cards?
This promotion was meant to be something fun for kids’ boxes, and yes, some of the lucky ones will receive a valuable card at random.
The Pokémon cards have been separated into five decks, shuffled multiple times, and left face down so that we can’t see what they are. We simply take the top card from one of the decks at random and place it into each kids’ box.
If we continue to be harassed about purchasing cards or letting people choose which cards they want, we will cancel the promotion entirely. If that happens, I’ll simply give all the Pokémon cards to my staff to pass on to their children, grandchildren, or younger brothers and sisters instead.
Please respect that this promotion is for the kids. Thank you.
