🥹❤️ This is exactly why we’re doing what we’re doing!

We absolutely loved reading this review from a local after their visit to The Halfway House.

“Great food and atmosphere at the Halfway House last night! Fantastic to see support from the village, it feels like our village pub has returned.”

That last bit really means so much to us. ❤️

We’ve been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to create a pub that feels welcoming, lively, family-friendly and most importantly, like a proper village pub again. 🍻

Seeing people enjoying the food, having a drink, meeting friends and coming back again is exactly what we hoped for when we took this on.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far — whether you’ve popped in for a meal, had a drink, joined one of our events or simply told someone about us.

The Halfway House is your village pub, and we’re so excited for what’s still to come. ❤️

And A LOT of very questionable answers… 🤣

Here’s a little look at some of the reactions throughout the night 👀😂

From the confident “I KNOW THIS ONE!” to the absolute blank faces when the question got a little too hard… 😭

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, got involved and made it such a brilliant night! ❤️

And to all the teams… we’ll see you next time! 👀📝

Can you get your team name into the TOP 3 next time? 👀😂
