And we have a wonderful surprise for all who are joining us, an exhibition by Maddy Couch. She has recently begun a project to paint 1000 pieces of art inspired by animal rescue and wildlife stories around the world. We will be displaying the artworks to inspire people to help animal rescue charities and share their animal rescue stories.
We have a very special collaboration with especially for diners & are delighted to support this worthy project from a very talented local artist. www.maddycouch.com Her artworks will be exhibited and on sale on the night and we be running a raffle with one beautiful whale artwork as the prize. Raised funds will be given to a chosen animal charity.
Maddy Couch is an artist, currently living in Devon. After studying Illustration at The Phoenix Gallery in Brighton, she travelled internationally, volunteering for animal rescue, wildlife and community projects.
Her artwork has been influenced by Maori artists from New Zealand, Indigenous art from Taiwan and Buddhist art across Asia, where she spent time learning and developing her style. A passion for travel, animal companions and wildlife are the inspirations behind her work. She uses a range of media and where possible, uses recycled materials as her canvas.
Maddy is currently working on her project, creating one thousand pieces of art to raise awareness of animal and wildlife rescue around the world. Each work will be numbered and signed by the artist.
