A big big thank you to everyone who came along to our monthly quiz last night. As ever we had far too many teams! Shoulder to shoulder, almost sitting on the laps of the rival team next to you! But as ever you took it on the chin and squished in with great humour and goodwill (for which we are grateful). You came, not just for the fun (and there is a lot of that!) but in the knowledge that all the money raised is for that most important of reasons. The Snowdrop Trust. A wonderful and unique charity which supports families going through the hardest of hard times, providing 'Nursing Care at Home' for local children who have a life-threatening or terminal illness. And you can't get much harder than that. Last night we raised £210 (including the kind donation from the winning team of their £20 winnings). A massive thank you to Jamie James Wood (Quiz Compiler extraordinaire) Oscar on the mic and Amanda for keeping the evening running and on course. With able assistance from Paddy. Well done all! 👏

Come and enjoy an hour or so of rousing Sea Shanties from 7.00pm, Friday 12th June (courtesy of Arundel Green Week). A joyful and riotous evening with local group The Elmer Wreckers. If you have any spare cash, donations gratefully accepted for the RNLI.

Come along at midday on Sunday (7th June) to hear from Greening Arundel. Free tea/coffee. An informal get-together with a talk from Rita Godfrey plus discussion and questions. All welcome! Catch up with what they're doing with the No Spray Streets initiative. Find out what moving away from pesticides and herbicides towards hand tending means for wildlife and pollinators, as well as for the soil, the waterways and the beneficial insects (like ladybirds, spiders, and ground beetles) which act as natural pest predators.
(This is a small but important project between West Sussex County Council , Agenda 21 and ATC).
