For the first time in its 16 year existence, the Armoy Road Races are to be televised and live streamed.

BBC Sport have come on board to provide all the action from Saturdays racing with live streams available on the BBC iPlayer and also worldwide access through the BBC Sport website removing any regional restrictions. This will include all of Saturdays action including the prestigious ‘Race of Legends’ that brings the meeting to a conclusion.

Roads close at 10am Friday to facilitate the planned practice and qualifying sessions plus 2 races. Friday evening will see both a Supertwin and Supersport race go ahead scheduled for approximately 6.30pm pending the running of practice and qualifying. Roads open 9.30pm at the latest.

Saturday sees a packed fixture of 12 races through the Antrim countryside with roads closing at the earlier time of 9am. The last race of the day will be the Bayview Hotel ‘Race of Legends’ which promises to be an enthralling battle if last year is anything to go by. Roads will open at 7.30pm.

Information on live timing will be available from tomorrow morning.

Guess what??? As a one off we are OPENING this whole weekend from TODAY Thursday. Gourmet burgers, with causeway prime beef:) we are also doing skinny fries, hot teas/coffees and a selection of cold drinks and redbull.
