🔥 Cooking with Fire - 2 weeks to go!🌳

Cooking with wood is a whole different experience...from mastering your fire and choosing the right timbers to understanding the connection between fire, food and our native woods.

We’re delighted to have Hal Dawson, Worshipful Master Fishmonger, joining us to share his expertise as we explore a range of wood-fired cooking techniques.

Across the day, you’ll have the opportunity to cook using our smoker, wood-fired pizza oven, open fire pit, asado grill and plancha...with everything cooked over our wood fires. 🔥

We’re bringing a little something different to this year’s Food & Cider Weekend with our Pawtastic Brunch! 🐾

Taking place in our garden beside Gosford Forest Park, we’ll be serving up a Best of Local Brunch buffet, packed with fantastic flavours and fresh ingredients from across Armagh — with a special canine-friendly treat for your four-legged friends too! 🐾

The brunch runs from 10.30am–12.30pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy some good food before heading through the garden gate for a stroll around Gosford Forest Park.

We had a brilliant day yesterday hosting Irish Food Writers’ Guild at our restaurant, showing the excellent produce and food Armagh has to offer - and how On The Hoof do it 🔥
