Spice Lounge Armagh Celebrates Place Among Northern Ireland’s Top 10 at ARTA 2026

The owners and team at Spice Lounge Armagh are delighted to announce that the restaurant has been named among the Top 10 finalists for Northern Ireland in the prestigious Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) 2026.

The recognition places Spice Lounge among some of the leading Asian restaurants in Northern Ireland and is a proud moment for everyone involved in the restaurant.

For the owners however, the achievement belongs just as much to the people who have supported Spice Lounge along the way.

“We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to have been named as a finalist in the ARTA 2026 awards. To be recognised among the Top 10 in Northern Ireland means a great deal to us, but this recognition really belongs to everyone who has been part of the Spice Lounge journey.

“First and foremost, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our customers. Whether you have been coming to us for years, celebrating special occasions with us, recommending us to friends and family, or simply calling in for your favourite meal, your continued support and loyalty are the reason we are here today.

“We are equally grateful to our wonderful team. A restaurant is only ever as good as the people behind it, and we are extremely fortunate to have such hardworking and dedicated people in our kitchen and front-of-house team. Their commitment, care and passion go into everything we do.

“We would also like to thank the wider Armagh community, our suppliers, local businesses and everyone who has supported and encouraged us. We are very proud to be part of this community and to represent Armagh on a national stage.”

The Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards celebrate excellence across the UK’s Asian hospitality sector, with the 2026 finalists selected following more than 1,250 public nominations alongside other measures including customer reviews and food hygiene standards.

Spice Lounge will now proudly represent Armagh as the competition progresses towards the ARTA 2026 awards ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane on 12 October.

Whatever the final result, the team says being shortlisted is already an achievement worth celebrating.

“To be recognised in this way is a wonderful honour. We will continue doing what we have always tried to do; welcoming people warmly, serving food we are proud of and giving our customers the very best experience we can.
