Ooooft……….it’s not very nice out there 🌬️ Walking the dogs has become a different game altogether!

We will stay closed today as the storm does its thing ☔️ 🌬️

We hope everyone is safe and well - we all seem to still have power which is amazing - but as we said before if anyone needs anything, just message.

🌬️ ‘It’s just a bit of wind man’ 😂
Remember when storm Amy happened last year and we thought it would be fine, then we had no power for days, the shops had to close, we had to have our fridges powered by Lawrie’s taxi and we fed everyone we could with camping stoves? Yeah, it feels a bit like that just now.
It’s very quiet in the villages - rightly so! And our core team live in Mallaig, so we will be closing today and keeping an eye on the weather for tomorrow to see what is best for our wee team.
❤️ However if you have concerns about anyone being safe in this weather, reach out to us and we will come and check on them and drop off some essentials and soup to make sure they are ok. Our community is at the heart of what we do so please don’t be afraid to message us.

So the storm is brewing for tomorrow and we think it might be nice to have a cosy night in with the fire on, and perhaps a delicious American Feast from The Old Library Arisaig tomorrow night! Dan & his team are serving up a cracking scran for the house, so we will be taking tomorrow night off and enjoying a chilled Saturday night with good food and the candles on stand by!
Please message the Old Library to get your takeaway sorted for tomorrow and keep supporting our wee selection of amazing local businesses staying open outwith the season 🥰

With the nights drawing in and things being a little quieter in the village, we are adapting our hours as we do every season.
🍳 But we are keeping weekend breakfasts on, and as per our locals demand we will stay open Thursday to Sunday.
🌯 Our full menu will stay the same until November and……..
Sound Bites Socials and Theme Nights will be back - starting in November. Quiz Nights, Rock n Roll Bingo, Wok n Roll Chinese, and some very special surprises too - so keep an eye out as we have got some cracking nights up our sleeve ✨
Our phone line is still down as we wait for a new WiFi phone (we are technasaurs and didn’t realise that was a thing 😂) so get us on here till we are back up and running

Oooft the vibe ⚡️ already!! 🥰

We are working the Feis Bar till very late tonight 😉 and we know the The Old Library Arisaig and Arisaig Marine are serving up breakfast tomorrow so we are gonna get some much needed rest tomorrow and open at 12pm - 6pm instead 🥰 Turns out doing a 18 hour shift in your 40s can give you the fear 😂

Homemade OG Bloody Marys, Margarita Slushies and Passionate Rums will be on all weekend along with our banging Feis menu - so get along to see us over the weekend to be watered, fed and filled with laughter before the main events of the night!

Our opening hours for this weekend are a little different - as we gear up for Feis na Mara 🪩
We will close at 8pm to let the team get ready to go and run the Friday night bar at Astley Hall, Arisaig for one of our favourite weekends of the year!
We will play it by ear for Saturday and Sunday, so if we are quiet we will finish up a little earlier to let the team get some rest before going to the hall on Saturday night, but if it’s busy then we will keep the burgers, craic and cocktails flowing a little longer!

The tickets are sold out, the wind is blowing and we are soooo excited for next weekend already 🪩 🎶 🤭

Here’s our menu for the Feis na Mara weekend, where we will be open longer (don’t worry isleofeigg - we will be open till 8pm on Friday to get you guys fed and watered too!) and serving up a feast fit for a sesh 🥰

Wer keeping our prices low coz we expect to see you all more than once 😉

Soup of the day will be our infamous Bloody Marys, but you can expect Margarita Slushys, Passionate Rums and Eigg Beers too!

Coffee machine will be on for those of you needing hydration and caffeine to get you through!
