A peaceful honeymoon stay

Our second time at the Coll Hotel, this time for three nights, staying in a garden room. The setting is magical and probably the best of any of the island hotels in Scotland, overlooking the harbour. Think "Local Hero" for those who know. We eat, all three nights, in the restaurant as the food was just amazing. What a chef they have! Everything perfectly cooked and presented. Staff really friendly, hotel peaceful, well stocked bar, comfortable and quiet room, with oh so amazing views from the terrace! Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

Now it’s time for a hefty dose of marketing to get island businesses up to speed and save this season.

We welcomed MV Hebrides back in service on Wednesday, as she helped to restore planned service levels across CalMac’s major vessel network.

With usual vessels now back in place on routes serving Coll, Colonsay, Mull, South Uist and Tiree, customers can expect improved capacity, resilience and connectivity across the west coast network.

Thanks to island communities and customers for their patience and support during recent disruption.
